MILLBURY Margaret E. (LaCrosse) Stockwell, 94, of 392 West Main St., died Wednesday, July 19th in Radius Health Care Center.
Her husband, Frederick R. Stockwell died in 1980. She leaves a son, F. Donald Stockwell of Millbury; two brothers, Robert LaCrosse and William "Billy" LaCrosse both of Millbury; two grandchildren, Joseph F. Stockwell and Sharron Vottiero; two great-grandchildren three great great grandchildren; nephews and nieces. She was born in West Millbury and lived in Millbury all her life. She is predeceased by her parents, Edward and Mary (Lynch) LaCrosse, four brothers, William, Edward, Charles and Donald LaCrosse and eight sisters, Evelyn James, Dorothy Minney, Mable Stockwell, Eleanor Lynn, Elizabeth"Liz" Riedle, Barbara Gary Rita Koziara and Bernice Pomerleau.
Mrs. Stockwell worked for the former Millbury Spinning for 15 years and for the former Paragon Mill for 8 years, and then for Buck Brothers for 10 years, when she retired in 1973.
Her funeral will be held Saturday, July 22nd from Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 Main St., Millbury, with a Mass at 10 a.m. in St. BrigidTM)s Church, 59 Main St., Millbury. Burial will be in St. BrigidTM)s Cemetery. A calling hour will be held from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. Saturday before the funeral in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donorTM)s choice.
