NORTH PORT, FL / MILLBURY Margaret T. (Connolly) Turner, 73, of North Port, FL, formerly of Marion Ave. in Millbury, MA, passed away Thursday July 5th, in the Fawcett Memorial Hospital, Florida, after an illness.
Margaret was a long time employee of Charlie's Diner on Plantation Street in Worcester and then she was an employee for many years at The University of Massachusetts Medical Center in there Human Resources Department, until her retirement.
Margaret was a very active member of Our Lady Lourdes Church in Worcester, MA where she served as Eucharistic Minister. She was also very active at the San Pedro Catholic Church in North Port, Florida where she served as a Eucharistic Minister. She loved to golf, play cards and work in her garden.
Margaret is survived by her husband of 52 years, Kenneth Turner; a daughter, Debra Webb of Sutton, MA and two sons Kevin Turner of Millbury, MA and Tod Turner of Rockport, MA; four grandchildren, 2 granddaughters and 2 grandsons, whom she adored. She also leaves a sister, Mary Vasseur of Fox Lake, Illinios and several nieces and nephews.
Her funeral will be held Wednesday, July 11th from Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 Main St., Millbury, with a Mass at 10 a.m. in Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 1290 Grafton St., Worcester. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Calling hours are 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, July 10th in the funeral home.
