WORCESTER – Margaret M. "Peggy" (Wood) Wright, 87, died Monday, Feb. 15th in the Holy Trinity Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Worcester.
Her husband, Edward M. Wright died 1984. She leaves a son, Dennis E. Wright and his wife Sharon of Worcester and a sister, Elva Gartsu of Worcester. She was born in Millbury and is predeceased by her parents, Alfred and Gertrude (Hazelwood) Wood a son, Paul M. Wright and a brother, Alfred Wood.
Mrs. Wright worked at Norton Company in Worcester for 38 years, before she retired. She was a volunteer at the Shrewsbury Senior Center and was a member of the Auxiliary of the Disabled American Veterans.
A private graveside service will be held in St. John's Cemetery in Worcester. There are no calling hours. Mulhane Home for Funerals in Millbury is assisting the family with arrangements.
