MILLBURY – Maria B. (Pisani) Guarciariello, 93, died peacefully Thursday, May 15th in her home.

Her husband Dr. Cosmo A. Guarciariello, died in 1972. She leaves a daughter, Mary Ann wife of Robert N. Shaw, her beloved son-in law of Millbury; a step- son, Anthony Guarciariello of Reading; a step-daughter, Bernice Costanzo of Medford; three step nieces, Julie McGrail, Janet Bardascino and Paula Lind; one step nephew, James Guarciariello; two step-grandchildren; a sister, Marta Orlando of Rome, Italy; a niece, Fiorella Catanzaro of Italy; three nephews, Mario, Fausto and Saro Orlando of Italy; her daily companions, Brandy and Lulu. She was born in Calabria, Italy and lived in Newton, Ma. for 41 years, before moving to Millbury 16 years ago. She is predeceased by her parents, Fausto and Anna Pisani, a brother, Enrico Pisani and a sister, Franca Sagulo.
She worked for 2 major bridal houses in the bridal fashion industry, The House of Bianchi and Priscilla of Boston for 18 years, then designed jewelry with her daughter Mary Ann for 15 years.

Mrs. G / Maria, a true regal soul, was a devoted mother, lover of life and offered much wisdom to all that knew her.

Her funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 21st in St. Brigid Church, 59 Main St. in Millbury. Entombment will be private in St. Michaels Cemetery in Hyde Park. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in her name may be made to Make a Wish Foundation of Greater Boston, 1 Bulfinch Place, 2nd Floor, Boston, MA 02114.
