Marie B. Fabbri

WORCESTER - Marie B. (Morin) Fabbri, age 87 died peacefully with family at her side on January 19, 2025 at Notre Dame Long Term Care Center in Worcester.

Her husband of twenty years, Orfeo Fabbri, died in 1997. Marie leaves a daughter Michelle Lumb of Oakdale CT, granddaughter, Ashley Wade, of South Boston, MA, sister, Theresa Morin and brother, Francis Morin both of Millbury, MA and son-in-law, Paul Nixon of Oakdale, CT.

Marie was born in Worcester, MA, daughter of Albina and Adelmard Morin and lived in Worcester and Millbury during her childhood years. She attended Millbury Memorial High School graduating in 1954.

Early in her career, Marie worked as a bookkeeper and office worker at Rockwell Sprinkler and L Farber Company. She later worked in the beverage industry for thirty-five years as an office & credit manager retiring from Consolidated Beverages in 2007.

Marie was an active member of St. Stephen’s parish in Quinebaug, CT and was a devout Christian. She was an avid Red Sox and New England Patriot football fan and followed them faithfully. She enjoyed a good book, cooking delicious meals, watching old movies and she loved the beach. Marie loved animals and had a number of cats and dogs over the years with German Shepards being her favorite. She was a huge supporter of our country’s Veteran’s and displayed the American flag proudly for over forty years at her home in Dudley, MA and later at Christopher Heights of Webster where she would place an American Flag on her Christmas wreath and her Christmas tree.

Family and friends are invited to honor and remember Marie’s life by gathering for a time of visitation on Friday, January 24th from 9 to 10:15 a.m. in Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 N. Main Street, Millbury. 

Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated following the visitation at 11 a.m. in St. Brigid Church, 59 N. Main Street, Millbury. Burial will be held in St. Philips Cemetery, Grafton.
