Marie A. (Loiselle) Laplante, 90, died Saturday, August 2nd in St. Vincent Hospital in Worcester.
Marie's husband of 54 years, Ovila J. Laplante died in 1996. She leaves three daughters, Caroline Bazin and her husband, Roland of Millbury, Lois T. Laplante of Millbury and Michelle Connelly of Worcester; four grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; three brothers, Brother Donald Richard a Marist Brother at Roselle Catholic High School in New Jersey, Richard H. Loiselle of Millbury and Kenneth R. Loiselle of North Grafton; a sister, Felice T. Burns of Millbury; her aunt, Ernestine Berthiaume and a uncle, George H. Belanger; many niece and nephews. Marie is predeceased by her parents, George and Agnes (Belanger) Loiselle; one brother, Rev. Joseph G. Loiselle and three sisters, Florence Loiselle, Lucille Lajoie and Pauline Dwyer.
Marie enjoyed knitting, reading, gardening, cooking and bird watching. Her great joy was being a mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Marie enjoyed vacationing by the sea and her trip to Scotland.
Marie's calling hours will be held on Tuesday, August 5th from 4 to 7 p.m. in Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 Main Street in Millbury.
Her funeral will be held on Wednesday, August 6th with a Funeral Mass at 11 a.m., celebrated by Rev. Richard A. Fortin, in St. Brigid Church, 59 Main Street in Millbury. Burial will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery in Worcester.
