MILLBURY Marie B. Powers, 75, of 26 Maple St., died Monday, Sept. 26th at the Meadows Nursing Home in Leicester.
She leaves a brother, Paul E. Powers of Whitinsville; nephews and nieces; great nieces; great great nephews. She is predeceased by two brothers, John J. and Leo F. Powers and a sister, Helen C. Powers. She was born in Worcester, daughter of John T. and Ada C. (Wilson) Powers.
Marie was secretary to the Dean of Students at Clark University from 1957 to 1985 when she retired. She was a member of St. BrigidTM)s Church and a former member of the Millbury WomanTM)s Club.
Her funeral will be held Thursday, Sept. 29th from Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 Main St., Millbury, with a Mass at 1 p.m. in St. BrigidTM)s Church, 59 Main St., Millbury. Burial will be in St. BrigidTM)s Cemetery, Millbury. Calling hours are 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 28th, in the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Friends of the Millbury Seniors, 1 River St., Millbury, MA.
