MILLBURY Mareia E. (Lacoste) Snay, 93, formerly of 2 Pearl St., Millbury and of Rochdale, died Friday, Dec. 24th in Millbury Health Care Center.
Her husband, Noe Snay died in 1972. She leaves two daughters, Elizabeth A. Dowdy of Millbury and Irene Tolman of Worcester; a son, Joseph N. Snay of Spencer; five brothers, Theophil Lacoste, Kenneth Lacoste, Arthur Lacoste, Edward Lacoste and Homar Lacoste; four sisters, Jeannette Conney of Clinton, Beatrice Dube of Florida. Elizabeth Stevens of Florida and Victoria Swett of Auburn; two grandchildren; two great grandchildren; nephews and nieces. She was born in Rochdale, daughter of Joseph and Emma (Lessard) Lacoste and moved to Millbury in 1985.
She attended events at the Millbury Senior Center.
Mrs. SnayTM)s funeral will be held Tuesday, Dec. 28th from Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 Main St., Millbury, with a Mass at 10 a.m. in St. BrigidTM)s Church, 59 Main St. Burial will be in St. RochTM)s Cemetery, Oxford. Calling hours are 5 to 8 p.m. Monday, Dec. 27th, in the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Friends of the Millbury Seniors, One River St., Millbury, MA 01527.
