SUTTON – Marion L. (Chase) Reed, 79, died Wednesday, Nov. 4th in the Care One at Millbury Nursing Home.
Her husband, Calvin C. Reed died in 1965. She leaves four children, Elaine Wilson and her husband, Peter with whom Marion lived with, David Reed and his wife, Donna of Charlton, Warren Reed and his wife, Susan of Douglas and Brian Reed of Douglas; many grandchildren, among those were Julie Wilson, and Nicole Klys with whom she lived and spent many years with; several great grandchildren; her siblings, Warren Chase of Sutton, Richard Chase of Millbury, Marjorie Hairyes of Dudley, Kathleen Rozenas of Dudley and Nancy Moore Wells of Las Vegas, NV; nephews and nieces. She was born in Millbury and is predeceased by her parents Levi J. and Mabel A. (Hall) Chase, a son, Ronald Reed and a brother, Kenneth Chase.
Marion graduated from Millbury High School in 1954 and was a member of the First Congregational Church in Millbury. She enjoyed arts and crafts, painting, bingo, playing cards, yard sales and animals. She spent many years going to the Crossroads Clubhouse in Milford and enjoyed many friends there.
Marion's funeral service will be held at 11 am. Saturday, Nov. 7th in Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 Main St. in Millbury. A calling hour will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. prior to the funeral service in the funeral home. Burial will be in West Millbury Cemetery in West Millbury. Memorial contributions may be made to the Crossroads Clubhouse, 11 Williams St., Hopedale, MA 01747.
