SUTTON- Marion M. (Army) Vaillancourt, 73, of 65 Providence Road, died Wednesday, April 30, in her home after an illness.
She leaves two sons, Roland D. Vaillancourt Jr. of Sutton and Jeff R. Vaillancourt of Millbury; four daughters, Darlene P.Orne of North Grafton, Linda M. Renzoni of Millbury, Sharon L. Roebuck of Marrietta, Georgia and Lisa A. Houle of Webster; 10 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren. She was born in Millbury, daughter of Wilfred Cournoyer and Katherine (Army) Walker and has lived in Sutton most of her life. She graduated from Millbury High School.
Mrs. Vaillancourt was a mail clerk for All America Financial in Worcester before she retired. Previously she worked for World Book Encyclopedia in Westboro for 4 years, Jeffco Fibers in Millbury and Boria Farms.
She was a member of the former Millbury Grange. She enjoyed Bingo, reading, counted cross-stitch and bird watching.
A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 3, in St. Johns Episcopal Church, 3 Pleasant St. Burial will be private. Calling hours are 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, May 2 in Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 Main St., Millbury (
