Marjorie Mickelson

July 16, 1920 — April 24, 2011

SUTTON Marjorie E. (Taft) Mickelson, 90, of Webster, formerly of Sutton, died Sunday April 24th in her home, after being stricken ill.

Her husband, John E. Mickelson died in 1999. She leaves a daughter, Janet L. wife of Wendell F. Whittier of Sutton. She was born in Millbury and is predeceased by her parents, Jonas F. and A. Ellen (Trainter) Taft, six brothers, William, Willard, John, Francis, Howard and Harry Taft and three sisters, Edith Army, Josephine Gustafson and Ruth McCrea.

Mrs. Mickelson was a waitress at the former Blue Jay Restaurant in Sutton and was a member of the First Congregational Church in Millbury and the Sutton Young WomenTM)s Club.

A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 27th in the West Sutton Cemetery, West Sutton Road in Sutton. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Friends of the Sutton Seniors, 19 Hough Rd. Sutton, MA 01590. There are no calling hours.
