MILLBURY – Mark J. O'Gassian Jr., 44, died Monday, July 9, 2012 in the Veterans Administration Hospital in Boston.
His wife, Betty A. (Roy) O'Gassian died in 2010. He leaves a son, Matthew R. Lachapelle of Oxford; a daughter, Sara A. Toedt and her husband Matthew of Oxford; his parents, Bernice M. (Squiers) O'Gassian and Mark J. O'Gassian Sr. of Millbury; two grandchildren; a brother, John V. O'Gassian and his wife, Paula of Millis; a sister, Winnie T. Eilert and her husband Jason of Millbury; nephews and nieces. He is predeceased by a grandson, Joshua Lachapelle.
Mark was engineer for Morgan Construction Co. in Worcester where he worked for 15 years. He was an Army veteran and served in Panama in the early 1980's. He was wonderful dad, grandfather and uncle and he loved football, watching the Patriot's and ice fishing.
His funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Friday, July 13th in the Millbury Federated Church, 20 Main St. in Millbury. Calling hours are 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, July 12th in Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 Main St in Millbury. Burial will be in Central Cemetery in Millbury.
