FITCHBURG - Marshalee C. Cormier (Micklus), 73, passed away peacefully in Health Alliance/ Leominster Hospital after a period of declining health on Friday, September 30, 2022.
She leaves her loving spouse of 35 years Camille J. Cormier of Leominster. Although she had no biological children, she leaves five stepchildren she loved as her own. Monique Lavoie and her husband Lee of Fitchburg, Theresa Tripaldi and her husband Jim of Millbury, Tina Girdlestone and her husband Donny of Easton, Roger Cormier and his wife Melissa of Northbridge and Maurice Cormier and his wife Betzabeth of Fitchburg. Six grandchildren Eric, Derek, Amber, Michael, Haley and Kevin. Four great grandchildren Bryce, Aliyah, Anthony and Alana. She also leaves a nephew John Micklus and his wife Laurel of Ashburnham, a niece Jacqueline Bernard of Canaan, NH, a Cousin Patricia Schell of Groveland, FL.
She was predeceased by her parents John T. and Janelle (LaFlamme) Micklus, her sister Sandra Emerson (Micklus), her brother John E. Micklus and her aunt Shirley Streit.
Marsha was born in Fitchburg and grew up in the surrounding area. She worked at Leominster Hospital for 37 years, she started in laundry and worked her way up to Central Supply until her health started to fail her.
Marsha loved to knit and crochet and was a very crafty person. She loved to make gifts for friends and family. She liked to do scrap booking and do adult coloring books. She also enjoyed baking for family and friends. Marsha loved to spend time with family, especially the grandchildren and great grandchildren but most of all her husband. She was a kindhearted soul who always had a smile on her face and was a joy to be with. She will truly be missed by all who had the pleasure to know her.
Family and friends will remember and celebrate Marsha privately, there are no services.
