MILLBURY Martha I. (Sheehan) Hartigan, 66, of 12 Phillips Dr., died Saturday, July 2nd in St. Vincent Hospital, Worcester.
She leaves her husband, Robert J. Hartigan; a daughter, Kelly A. wife of Paul Lawson of Millbury; a son, Kevin P. and his wife Celia Hartigan of West Boylston; a brother, John Sheehan of Millbury; four grandchildren, Erica and Megan Lawson and Brian and Colleen Hartigan; nephews and nieces. She was born in Worcester, daughter of James and Mildred (Frazier) Sheehan and lived in Millbury all her life. She is predeceased by a brother, James Sheehan and a sister Eleanor Gosselin. She was a graduate of Millbury High School.
Mrs. Hartigan worked in the bookkeeping department of the Millbury National Bank for 30 years, retiring two years ago. She was member of St. BrigidTM)s Church. She was a Red SoxTM)s and PatroitTM)s fan and enjoyed spending time with her family.
Her funeral will be held Wednesday, July 6th from Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 Main St., Millbury, with a Mass at 10 a.m. in St. BrigidTM)s Church, 59 Main St. Burial will be in Central Cemetery. Calling hours are 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, July 5th in the funeral home.
