MILLBURY Mary C. (Jacobowsky) Jurinsky Benoit died Friday, March 17th, after a long illness.
Her husband, Harvey L. Benoit died in 1979. She leaves a son-in-law, Robert H. Brainard of Millbury four grandchildren, Kristen Bumpus of Millbury; Linda, Mark and Dennis Jurinsky all of Tennessee; three great-grandchildren; a sister, Helen wife of Francis Montville of Florida; a brother, Anthony and his wife Grace Jacobowsky in Worcester. She was born in New York City and is predeceased by her parents Gabriel and Marcela (Harmuchuk) Jacobowsky, a daughter, Suzanne L. Brainard and a son, John Jurinsky.
Mrs. Benoit was a clerk at Quality Seafoods in Worcester for many years, before she retired. She enjoyed bingo and bowling with the High NoonerTM)s at the Auburn Ten Pin Bowling and until 5 years ago she walked about ten miles a day.
Her funeral will be held Tuesday, March 21st from Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 Main St., Millbury, with a Mass at 10 a.m. in Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 1290 Grafton, St., Worcester. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, Worcester. Calling hours are 5 to 8 p.m. Monday, March 20th in the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the VNA Care Hospice, 120 Thomas St., Worcester, MA 01608.
