MILLBURY - Mary F. (Ferris) Blair, 79 of 85 Miles St., died Sunday, July 27 in her home, after being stricken ill.
She leaves a daughter, Joan B. Walker of Brookfield; a sister, Barbara Lucas of Manchester, Ct.; two grandchildren; nieces. She was born in Manchester Ct., daughter of Maurice and Harriet (Johnston) Ferris and has lived in Millbury since 1952. She graduated from Manchester High School in Manchester, Ct. and New Britain Hospital School of Nursing in New Britain, Ct.
Mrs. Blair was a registered nurse and worked for Dr. Phillippe Ouellette and Dr. John Farricy both in Worcester.
She was a member of the Millbury Federated Church and a former member of the Millbury WomanTM)s Club.
A Memorial Service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, August 9, in the Millbury Federated Church, 20 Main St. A graveside service will be held at 1:30 P.M., Thursday, July 31, in East Cemetery, Manchester Ct.. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may made to a charity. Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 Main St., ( www.mulhane.com ). is in charge of the arrangements.
