MILLBURY Mary C. "May" (Gibson) Brady, 81, of 177 West Main St., died peacefully surrounded by her loving family, at the age of 81.<br><br>She leaves her husband of 57 years, F. Joseph Brady; three sons, Mark, Matthew and John; eight daughters, Kathleen Brady-Dearnley, Marcia Huchowski, Patricia Cardin, Suzanne Brady, Jane Brady-Pojani, Ann Brady-Cestari, Bonnie Brady-Lucia and Beth Brady-Smith. A son, Timothy, died in 1954 at the age of 2 months. She also leaves 21 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. <br><br>As a child, May would often be seen skating and swimming on BrierlyTM)s Pond. She graduated from Millbury High School in 1943. Before she married, she attended Salter Secretarial School and was employed by the law firm of Seder and Associates in Worcester. After raising her children, she worked for seventeen years at the Millbury Public Library where the "Brady Reading Room" was donated in her name by her children. May loved to read and to do her crossword puzzle each morning. For many years, she worked counting votes at election time, an example of her civic pride and a chance to see old friends. She looked forward each year to the family vacation on Cape Cod where all her children and grandchildren gathered. She was so very proud of them all. May was a deeply religious person, a life time member of St. BrigidTM)s Church in Millbury where she taught catechism for many years. <br><br>May was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She will be greatly missed by all who loved her. <br><br>Her funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 8th in St. BrigidTM)s Church, 59 Main St., Millbury. Burial will be in St. BrigidTM)s Cemetery, Millbury. There are no calling hours. May had asked that flowers be omitted and instead, contributions may be made to the F. Joseph and Mary C. Brady Memorial Scholarship Fund, in care of the Millbury Credit Union, 50 Main St., Millbury, MA 01527. This scholarship is given annually to a Millbury High School student. Mulhane Home for Funerals, Millbury is assisting the family with arrangements. <br>
