Mary Jean (Stone) Ford, 92, died Monday, June 24, 2013 in Millbury Healthcare Center surrounded by her loving family.
Mary's husband, Francis A. Ford died in 1977. She leaves two sons, Gary P. Ford and his wife, Annette of Sutton and Alan S. Ford and his wife, Kim of Houston, TX; six grandchildren and six great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and cousins. She is predeceased by a son, Neal F. Ford and three siblings, Arnold Stone, Janice Ahearn and John Stone.
Mary was an industrial nurse at the American Steel & Wire Company in Worcester for many years and she also worked as a registered nurse at various area hospitals. She was an active member of the Business Professional Women's Association. Mary earned a bachelor's degree at UMASS Amherst. The family would like to thank the staff at Millbury Healthcare Center for years of devoted and loving care.
Mary's funeral service and burial will be private.
