MILLBURY Mary Phyllis (Green) Gagnon, 74, died Tuesday March 30th in her home after her battle with cancer.
She was predeceased by her husband Kenneth L. Gagnon of 55 years in November of 2009 and two sisters, Marion Gleason and Shirley Guild. She leaves two daughters, Patricia wife of Rodney Finne Sr. and Debora Hakala all of Millbury; three grandchildren Rodney, Jason and Kalee; two brothers, Leonard Green and his wife Betty of Port St. Lucy Florida and Arthur Green of Los Angeles, California; many nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly.
Mrs. Gagnon was born in Worcester to Arthur and Marion (Oswald) Green. Mary worked at Westboro State hospital until she retired in 1991. She loved to travel, but most of all loved playing cards. She always enjoyed the company of her friends and family.
Services will be private. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to VNA Care Network, Inc. Development Office 120 Thomas Street Worcester, MA 01608-1280. Mulhane Home for Funerals in Millbury is assisting the family with arrangements.
