MILLBURY Mary C. (Hamilton) Mazeika, 86, of 4 Dolan Rd, formerly of Peacedale Ave. Worcester, died Wednesday, Jan. 31st in her home, after an illness.
Her husband, Daniel P. Mazeika Sr. died in 1996. She leaves two daughters, Mary Ellen wife of William Blunt of Millbury and Margaret M. Freeland of Jefferson; four sons, Paul D. and his wife Joan Mazeika of Oxford, Thomas J. and his wife Barbara Mazeika of Webster, John M. and his wife Elizabeth Mazeika of Millbury and Robert A. and his wife Christine Mazeika of Boylston; many grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; two sisters, Sarah Magill of Leicester and Ellen Mita of New Bedford; nephews and nieces. She was born in Millbury, and is predeceased by her parents, John and Mary E. (Gallagher) Hamilton, her son, Daniel P. Mazeika Jr. and two brothers, John and William Hamilton.
Mrs. Mazeika worked at New England High Carbon Wire Co., at Tom McCan Shoe Co. and at Chess King before she retired in 1981. She was a member of St. Catherine of Sweden Church in Worcester and was a member of the Rosary Sodality and the Parish Council at the church and also taught CCD there. She spent many hours happily in the company of her children and her grandchildren.
Her funeral will be held Monday, Feb. 5th from Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 Main St., Millbury, with a Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Catherine of Sweden Church 1 Wiser Ave., Worcester. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park in Paxton. Calling hours are 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 4th in the funeral home.
