MILLBURY – Mary A. (Coderre) Murphey, 72, died Sunday, Oct. 24th in St. Vincent Hospital in Worcester.
She leaves her husband of 51 years, Robert R. Murphey; six children, Sharon (Murphey) Augusto and her husband Steven of Oxford, Dave Murphey and his wife Colette, Kim Murphey, Don Murphey, Brian Murphey and his wife Christine, and Laurie (Murphey) Pultorak and her husband Brian, all of Millbury; six grandchildren, Steven, Nicholas, Amanda, Krystal, Brandon,
Travis and Michael; two brothers, Richard Coderre and his wife Janet and Francis Coderre; a sister, Jean (Coderre) Edwards and her husband Henry; nieces and nephews. Mary is predeceased by her parents Irene & Ernest Coderre of Worcester.
Mrs. Murphey graduated from David Hale Fanning Trade High School in Worcester and worked at Saint Agnes Guild in Worcester until her retirement. Mary enjoyed country and polka music, traveling with her family on camping vacations, Disney World, bingo and frequent trips to the Connecticut casinos.
Mary's funeral will be held Thursday, Oct. 28th from the Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 Main St. in Millbury, with a Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Brigid Church, 59 Main St in Millbury. Burial will be in Central Cemetery in Millbury. Calling hours are 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 27th in the funeral home.
