CALLING HOURS HAVE BEEN POSTPONED TO FRIDAY FEB. 10th FROM 9:30 to 11 a.m. with THE FUNERAL SERVICE IN THE FUNERAL HOME AT 11 a.m.

Mary Agnes (McElroy) Patenaude, 82, died Sunday, Feb. 5th at St. Vincent Hospital in Worcester.

Her husband, Robert A. Patenaude died in 2003. She leaves two daughters, Patricia L. Arsenault and her husband, David and Jacqueline M. Walker and her husband, William all of Sutton; three sons, Douglas A. Patenaude of Millbury, Robert A. Patenaude and his wife Mandy of Sturbridge and Paul M. Patenaude of Worcester; sixteen grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; two sisters, Sarah LeBlanc of Shrewsbury and Mabel Austin of Millbury; three brothers, William McElroy of Northbridge, Charles McElroy of Rutland and John McElroy of Sutton; nieces and nephews. She was born in Worcester and is predeceased by her parents, William and Mabel (Anderson) McElroy, a brother, Francis McElroy and a life-long friend, Mary Anne O'Brien.

Mary was a loving mother and a great friend to many who were blessed with her compassionate presence and infectious laugh. Her family would like to thank all those involved with the care and compassion of their mother at the Holden Nursing Home and the St. Vincent Hospital ICU team.

Mary's funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 10th in Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 N. Main St. in Millbury. Calling hours are 9:30 to 11a.m. the day of the funeral Friday, Feb 10th. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park in Paxton.
