Mary Wood

Mary (Gagliardi) Wood, lifelong resident of Millbury, Massachusetts, passed away after a brief illness with her family by her side on Tuesday, October 8th, 2024.

She will be greatly missed by her family, dear friends, and caregivers who became like family. Mary was a confidante to many who loved her, always a listening ear. 

Mary was a bookkeeper for many years, primarily at Greenwood Dairy, Millbury, MA where she met her husband. 

Mary was predeceased by her beloved husband of 50 years, William Wood, as well as by her parents Joseph and Angelina Gagliardi, her sister Rita Shea and her husband Robert Shea.

Mary leaves behind her sister Rosemarie DeGaetano and her husband Richard, two dearly loved and devoted step-daughters: Karen Davis and Kristin Gould, her grandchildren Brynn, Alyssa, Tyler, and Mikaela, and her great-grandsons Jesse, Jacob, and Asher. 

Mary was a true lady and a long-time member of St Brigid Church, Millbury, Massachusetts. 

Burial will be private at the request of Mary, with her family at St Brigid Cemetery.
