Matthew S. Hartline, 33, died Thursday, August 15 after a brief illness at St. Vincent's Hospital, Worcester surrounded by his loving family.
He leaves his mother & step-father Madeline (Plante) Lennon & James F. Lennon, Jr. of Millbury, his father and step-mother Stephen D. & Deborah D. Hartline of Shrewsbury, his brother Jonathan A. Hartline of Millbury, his step sisters Lenore (Lennon) White of Spencer & Alexandra A. Gilmore of Portland, ME, his step-brother Thomas R. Gilmore of Concord, his maternal grandmother, Beulah (Grenier) Plante of Worcester, his paternal grandmother Jean (Dorn) Hartline of Wernersville, PA, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins & his PCA Karen Wiersma.
Matthew was born in Worcester and is predeceased by his maternal grandfather Normand J. Plante and his paternal grandfather Clayton H. Hartline. He attended many special education programs and Seven Hills Therapeutic Work Options for the last eleven years.
To know Matthew was to love him. He loved spending time with his family and friends. He had a smile that lit up a room. He loved music esp. listening to his favorite "Raffi".
His Funeral Mass will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 22nd in St. Brigid Church, 59 Main St. in Millbury. There are no calling hours. Burial will be private.
