MILLBURY – Mildred V. (Anderson) Gover, 89, died Wednesday, Oct. 28th in Millbury Health Care Center.
Mrs. Gover was born in Worcester, daughter of Axel and Hulda (Nilson) Anderson. She graduated from Commerce High School in Worcester and worked at Guarantee Bank before and after marrying the late Bernard R. Gover Sr., who died in 2006. She leaves two daughters and a son, Patricia A. Hughes of Oxford, Pamela F. Gover of Douglas and Bernard R. Gover Jr. of Douglas; a sister Helen Warren of St. Petersburg, FL; four grandchildren; two great granddaughters; several nieces and nephews. She lived her adult life in Millbury and belonged to the Women's Club of Dorothy Manor School and helped with the Camp Fire Girls during the times her children were involved. She has been a life-long member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Worcester.
Her graveside service will be private in Central Cemetery in Millbury. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
