MILLBURY Mildred A. (Marcell) Stewart Mansur, 83, of Millbury, died Tuesday, Oct. 19th at St. Vincent Hospital, after being stricken ill.
Her husband, Kenneth W. Mansur died in 1992. Her first husband, Andrew Stewart Jr. died in 1982. She leaves a sister, Beverly A. wife of George Bunting of Menifee, Ca; two step-sons, Steven M. Mansur of Auburn and Richard K. Mansur of Avon; 4 step-grandchildren, Erik S., Kristen E., Gabriel R. and Christopher G. Mansur; nieces and nephews, among which are Jane Schacht and Stephen and Douglas Bunting; and cousins. She was born in Millbury, daughter of Alfred and Eva (Blanchard) Marcell and has lived in Millbury most of her life.
Mrs. Mansur was a secretary at the FelterTM)s Company in Millbury for many years, before she retired. She was a volunteer at the Millbury Senior Center and was a member of the Millbury Council on Aging, the Millbury Golden Age and the AARP Bancroft Chapter.
Her funeral will be held Tuesday, Oct. 26th from Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 Main St., Millbury, with a Mass at 10 a.m. in St. BrigidTM)s Church, 59 Main St., Millbury. Burial will be private in Central Cemetery, Millbury. Calling hours are 5 to 8 p.m. Monday, Oct. 25th, in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Friends of the Millbury Seniors, One River St., Millbury, MA 01527.
