MILLBURY Milton R. "Ron" Patterson, 59, of 95 Elm St., died Sunday, March 14th in his home, after being stricken ill.
His former wife Janet (Wiggins) Patterson died in 1995. He leaves a son, Christopher R. Patterson of Millbury; four daughters, Nancy L. Gasco of Millbury, Karen L. Patterson of Holden, Pamela B. LeProhon of Oxford and Jennifer L. Patterson of Worcester; his mother, Mary E. (Milleisen) Patterson of Millbury; five grandchildren; a close companion, April Bickel; nephews and nieces. His father, Milton R. Patterson and a sister Mary Jean Demazure predeceased him. He graduated from Grafton High School in 1962.
Mr. Patterson was an oil burner technician for his business, Patterson Heating, in Millbury and for C.K. Smith Company in Worcester. He was a volunteer fire fighter for the Holden Fire Department, years ago. He was a Navy Seabee veteran during the Vietnam War and was a member of the 200 SportmenTM)s Club, in Webster.
His funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, March 18h in Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 Main St., Millbury Burial will be private Calling hours are 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, March 17th, in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to American Diabetes Assoc., 330 Congress St., Boston, Ma. 02210.
