MILLBURY - Nancy A. (Prentice) Bayrouty, 73, of Millbury, passed away peacefully in her home on Thursday, January 19, 2012; after a courageous battle with cancer. She was surrounded by her loving family.
Nancy is survived by her loving daughters Evelyn Bayrouty of Worcester, Deborah Bayrouty-Mejaour and her husband Mohammed Mejaour of Millbury, Marva Bayrouty and her longtime companion Stuart Crocker of West Boylston, her sister Faye and her husband Carl Christenson of NH; her grandchildren Anthony, Bruce, Nicholas, Adam, Noah and Hannah; her great grandchildren Chad, Cameron, and Giuliana Nancy; many nieces and nephews; also her longtime friend, Selma "Deb" Foureacre. She was predeceased by her parents, Clifford and Phyllis Prentice, sister Hazel Lewis, and daughter Cathy A. Delianedis.
Nancy graduated from the former Commerce High School in Worcester and was a loving mother and home maker. She worked for many years as a customer service representative, where she made wonderful friends in the paper industry. Nancy will be deeply missed and forever remembered as a beautiful woman.
The family would like to thank the Oncology Department at UMASS Memorial Hospital, located at the Levine Center. Special thanks to Dr. Ball and his team, along with the infusion nurses on the 3rd floor, and a thank you to the VNA hospice nurses of Worcester.
Nancy's funeral service will be held on Tuesday, Jan. 24th at 11 a.m. at The First Congregational Church of Millbury, 148 West Main Street. Burial will be at Worcester County Memorial Park in Paxton. Calling hours will be held on Monday, Jan. 23rd from 4 to 7 p.m. at Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 Main Street, in Millbury.
