Nancy Harney

NORTHBRIDGE - Nancy E. (Picotte) Harney, 75, joined her husband in death on Friday, June 16th, surrounded by her family, at Beaumont Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing Center in Northborough, after a long battle with Alzheimer's.

Her husband. Ronald Harney died last December. She leaves three children, Susan J. Florentine of Hoschton, GA, John Harney and his wife, Karen of Auburn and Cheryl Castonguay and her husband, John of Northbridge; ten grandchildren; six great grandchildren; her two birds, Boy and Max; a sister, Carol Lamothe and her husband, Larry of Northbridge; nephews and nieces. She was born in Worcester and is predeceased by her parents, Theodore and Sophie (Koprusak) Picotte and a brother, Ronald Picotte.

Nancy was a manager at the former Phillips Supermarket and also had her own business, Nan's Creations. She loved camping, cooking for her family and spending time with her grandchildren. The family would like to thank the staff at Beaumont of Northborough for their care and compassion.

A graveside service will be held at 12 Noon on July 3rd at St. Patrick's Cemetery, 1314 Providence Rd. in Whitinsville. There are no calling hours. Mulhane Home for Funerals in Millbury is assisting the family with the arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 480 Pleasant St. Watertown, MA 02472.
