MILLBURY Nelson E. Kiesiner Sr., 79, of 259 Millbury Ave., died Thursday, June 7th in his home, surrounded by his children.
His wife, Helen G. (Latraverse) Kiesiner, died in 2006. He leaves four children, Bruce A. Kiesiner of Millbury, Susan M. Benoit of Sutton, Laurie J. Lucas of Millbury and Timothy L. Kiesiner of Millbury; a brother, Donald Kiesiner and a sister, Doreen Heber both of Palm Bay, FL; eleven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; nephews and nieces. He was born in Worcester and is predeceased by his parents, Nelson S. and Ellen (Westerman) Kiesiner and three children, Wayne J., Francis X. and Nelson E. "Chucky" Kiesiner. He graduated from Millbury High School in 1945.
Mr. Kiesiner was a grinder at Norton Co. in Worcester where he worked for 36 years, before he retired. He was a Navy veteran during WW II.
His funeral will be held Tuesday, June 12th from Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 Main St., Millbury, with a Mass at 10 a.m. in Our Lady of the Assumption Church, 10 Waters St., Millbury. Burial will be in Central Cemetery. Calling hours are 5 to 7 p.m. Monday, June 11th in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Salvation Army, 72 Cambridge St., Worcester, MA 01603.
