MILLBURY - Nicholas E. Najemy, 91, of 4 Knollwood Circle, died Tuesday, Nov. 5, in St. Vincent Hospital, at the Worcester Medical Center, Worcester.
He leaves his wife of 62 years, Nora A. (Bittar) Najemy; two daughters, Jeanne Najemy of Cape Elizabeth, Me. and Judith Palmerino of Millbury; five grandchildren; nephews and nieces. He is predeceased by a daughter, Norine Carle of Lexington, four brothers, George, Mitchell, Joseph and Robert, three sisters, Isabelle Halal, Effie Nikosey and Melvina Najemy. He was born in Worcester, son of Elias and Mary (Sadek) Najemy and has lived in Millbury since 1963. He attended Commerce High School in Worcester.
Mr. Najemy was President of Worcester Slitting & Manufacturing Co. Inc., in Worcester, for 30 years, retiring in 1980.
He was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Church, and a former member of the East Side Improvement Club in Worcester. He was an avid golfer and gardener.
The funeral will be held Saturday, Nov. 9, from Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 Main St., (

) with a Mass at 10 a.m. in Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 1290 Grafton St., Worcester. Burial will be private. Calling hours are 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 8, in the funeral home. Donations may be made to Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 1290 Grafton St., Worcester, 01604.
