Nola Strom

MILLBURY - Nola J. (Mossa) Strom, 85, peacefully passed away Thursday September 2nd after fighting a year long battle with pancreatic cancer.  She was surrounded by her loving family.

Nola leaves two sons, Keith Strom and Timothy Strom and his wife, Michelle of Millbury; nine grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; one sister Joyce Barry of Royalston, MA; many nephews and nieces.  She is predeceased by her husband, Kenneth E. Strom; her parents Frank and Lucinda Mossa; two sons Danne and Steven Strom; four sisters and two brothers.

Nola loved spending time with many friends and family.  Nola and Ken were members of many camping clubs.  Nola put on many reunions and gatherings for family and friends.  She retired from Athol Memorial Hospital as food service Director for over 25 years.

Family and friends will celebrate her life at Tim and Michelle’s home in Millbury from 2 to 6 p.m. on Saturday, September 18th.  Her burial service will be in Royalston, MA will be held in October (date to be announced).

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, The Shriners or the American Cancer Society.
