MILLBURY- Nora A. (Bittar) Najemy, 97, died Monday, October 10, 2011 in her home surrounded by her loving family.
Nora is predeceased by her husband of 61 years, Nicholas E. Najemy and her daughter, Norine Carle. She leaves two daughters, Jeanne Najemy of Cape Elizabeth, ME and Judith Palmerino of Millbury; five grandchildren; five great grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
She worked for many years with her husband at Worcester Slitting and Manufacturing Company which they owned. After retirement Nora enjoyed playing golf and traveling to Florida, where she visited with her beloved sisters, nieces and nephews. She was very supportive of her children and grandchildren throughout her life. Nora will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother and aunt.
NoraTM)s funeral will be held Wednesday, Oct 12th from Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 Main St. in Millbury with a Funeral Service at 11 a.m. in Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, 260 Hamilton Street in Worcester. Calling hours will be held 4 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 11th in the funeral home. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., Framingham, MA, 01701.
