MILLBURY Norman C. Fairbanks Jr., 39, of 7 McGrath Rd., died Friday night in UMASS Memorial Medical Center, Worcester, from injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident in Millbury.
He leaves a daughter, Rebekah Fairbanks and his daughterTM)s mother, Ann Englehart, his parents, Norman C. Fairbanks Sr. and Joanne C. (Davis) Fairbanks, a sister, Katherine J. Fairbanks and a brother, Kenneth S. Fairbanks all of Millbury; three nieces and his nephew and Godchild, Jared Carlson; uncles, aunts and cousins. He was born in Worcester and lived in Millbury all his life.
Norman was owner and operator of Fairbanks Excavating Co. for the past eight years. He formerly worked for J. J. Baffaro Co. in Worcester, as a Master Plumber.
His funeral will be held Thursday, March 15th from Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 Main St., Millbury, with a Mass at 10 a.m. in St. BrigidTM)s Church, 59 Main St., Millbury. Burial will be in West Millbury Cemetery. Calling hours are 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, March 14th in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a fund to benefit his daughter, the Rebekah Fairbanks Fund, in care of the Millbury National Bank, 18 Main St., Millbury, MA 01527.
