MILLBURY Oscar S. Graveline, 88, of 5 Millbury Avenue, died Tuesday, Dec. 21st in Radius Health Care of Millbury.
His wife, Mary (Hamilton) Graveline died last month. He leaves two sons, Paul D. Graveline of Millbury and David A. Graveline of Worcester; two daughters, Anne M. wife of Richard Smardon of Syracuse, New York and Mary E. Brodeur of Millbury; four grandchildren, Matthew Brodeur, Nicole Cooney, Regina Buonaccorsi and Andrea Seth; three great grandchildren; two sisters, Lorette Rizer of Florida and Blanche Remuck of Worcester; nephews and nieces. He is predeceased by a brother, Eugene Graveline and three sisters, Belle Bruccoli, Irene Gill and Dora Ginipro. He was born in Central Falls, R.I and has lived here most of his life.
Mr. Graveline was an aviation mechanic, for 23 years, in the U. S. Navy during WW II and the Korean war. He then was a heavy equipment mechanic for the Mass. Turnpike Authority for 20 years, before he retired.
He was a member of St. BrigidTM)s Church, the Naval Fleet Reserve Assoc. and the Urbain Graveline Genealogical Society.
His funeral will be held Monday, Dec. 27th from Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 Main St., Millbury, with a Mass at 10 a.m. in St. BrigidTM)s Church, 59 Main St., Millbury. Burial will be in St. BrigidTM)s Cemetery. Calling hours are 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 26th, in the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Korean War Memorial,
