Pamela (Blodgett) Wood, 60, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family Thursday, Feb. 26th in St. Vincent Hospital after a courageous battle with cancer.
Pam leaves her husband of 41 years, Paul E. Wood; three sons, Frank J. Wood and his wife, Leah of Worcester, Jason J. Wood of Millbury and John E. Wood and his wife, Jennifer of Millbury and a niece who was like a daughter, Deanna Blood of Shirley; four grandchildren, AvaMarie, Rosalie, Jonah and Morgan; a sister, Shirley Smith of Spencer; a brother, Arthur Blodgett of Worcester; many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her mother, Constance (French) Blodgett and a sister, Linda Johnson.
Pam worked at S&D spinning mill for many years and more recently the Christmas Tree Shop before she retired in 2009. She enjoyed gardening, family dinners, shopping, playing cards and summer vacations in Maine and New Hampshire with family. Pam loved spending time with family and most of all spoiling her grandchildren, who she loved so deeply. The family would like to thank the ICU team at St. Vincent's Hospital for all their care and support.
Pam's calling hours will be held on Sunday, March 1st from 3 to 6 p.m. in Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 Main Street in Millbury.
Her funeral will be held on Monday, March 2nd at 11 a.m. in the funeral home. Burial will follow in Central Cemetery in Millbury.
