MILLBURY - Patricia Ann (Allen) Eilert, 79, went to be with her Lord and savior on February 13, 2021, after a long battle with breast cancer.
Pat is survived by her brothers, John Allen, Richard Allen and his wife Linda, Robert Allen and his wife Linda, her five children, Andrea Shulmann and husband Scott, Brian Eilert, Shelley Terlizzi, Jason Eilert and Pamela Tarckini and husband Steven. She also leaves 14 loving grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Patricia was predeceased by her loving parents Viola Chew and Frederick Allen, her sisters, Lorraine Buckley, Rita Jenkins, Florence Carney, and brother Frederick Allen Jr.
Pat was a daycare provider for over twenty five years and greatly enjoyed caring for children. She was a longtime member of Millbury Baptist Church where she was a Sunday school teacher, youth leader and a member of the Women’s fellowship. She was also an avid crafter and enjoyed being a part of “happy crafters” group.
It would be wrong to say that Pat lost her battle with cancer because she never stopped fighting. She will be sorely missed. Her life was a living example of one of her favorite Bible verses, “And be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving one another, just as in Christ God forgave you” Ephesians 4:32.
The family would like to thank Patricia’s loving care team of Western Mass Hospice.
Patricia’s family will honor and remember her life with a time of visitation on Sunday, Feb. 21st from 1 to 4 p.m. in Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 N. Main Street in Millbury. Her funeral service and burial will be private.
All social gathering guidelines will be followed.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Dana Farber Cancer Institute.
