Patricia Graves

MILLBURY- Patricia G. (McArdle) Graves, 95, passed away peacefully in the home of her daughter, Mary Ann and her family.

Pat leaves five children, Mary Ann Hilker and her husband, David of East Greenbush, NY; Daniel Graves and his wife, Alicia of Paxton, MA; Maureen Graham of Springfield, NH; Jane Leary and her husband, Philip of Worcester, MA; and Ann Brennan and her husband, Philip of Southbridge, MA; eight grandchildren, Brenna Venkatesh and her husband Sudeep, Matthew Hilker, Alexander Hilker, Ryan Leary and his wife Catherine, Sean Leary and his fiancee Kelly Campbell, Julie Kirshnaswami and her husband Ravi, Mary Beth Graves, and Chelsea Graves; one great granddaughter, Willa Krishnaswami; a sister, Elizabeth Young of Lincoln, RI; and many nieces and nephews.  She is predeceased by her husband, Maurice B. Graves; a son-in-law, John Graham and six siblings.

Pat’s entire life was her family and her faith.  She loved spending time in her home and with her family. Pat also enjoyed watching sports.  She was a big fan of the Red Sox, the Patriots, and the Bruins.  Pat got a great deal of pleasure from swimming in her pool in the summer.  She especially loved the time she spent at the pool with each grandchild.  Pat was very proud of her Irish heritage.  She loved celebrating St. Patrick’s Day and could be heard singing along with Irish songs.  Pat will be missed by all who knew her.

Family and friends will honor and remember Pat’s life by gathering for a time of visitation on Wednesday, August 1st from 4 to 7 p.m. in Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 N. Main Street in Millbury.

Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, August 2nd at 10 a.m. in Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 1290 Grafton Street in Worcester.  Burial will follow at St. Brigid Cemetery, Millbury.
