MILLBURY Patricia T. Griggs, 68, of 284 West Main St., died Thursday, July 26th in her home surrounded by her family, after a three year battle with breast cancer.
Her husband, Burton H. Griggs died in 2004. She leaves a daughter, Dawn K. Janda of Virginia; five sons, Mark B. Griggs of Arizona, Michael S. Griggs of Texas and James B. Griggs, Daniel C. Griggs and John J. Griggs all of Millbury; two brothers, Norman C. Fairbanks and Carl Fairbanks of both of Millbury; a sister, Gloria Stacy of Millbury; six granddaughters and one grandson; nephews and nieces. She was born in Dudley, daughter of Leonard and Theresa (Antkowiak) Fairbanks.
Mrs. Griggs was a dinning room attendant at the College of the Holy Cross in Worcester for 36 years. She enjoyed gardening and ceramics.
Her funeral will be held Monday, July 30th from Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 Main St., Millbury, with a Mass at 9 a.m. in St. BrigidTM)s Church, 59 Main St., Millbury. Burial will be in West Millbury Cemetery. Calling hours are 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday, July 29th in the funeral home.
