Patricia I. (O'Neil) Lane, 90, died Sunday, Sept. 27th in the Memory Unit of Beaumont Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Northbridge.
Patricia leaves her sister, Ann MacDonald of Spencer; a granddaughter, Jessica Lane; two great grandchildren, Emily and James Kyle Rossini. She lived 38 years in Sutton on Tucker Lake with her longtime friend, Pat Bassette. She is predeceased by her parents, Arthur T. and Irene M. (Murphy) O'Neil; her son, Timothy P. Lane; a sister, Betty Belanger and a brother, Arthur O'Neil.
Pat graduated from Millbury High School and Milford School of Nursing. She did post graduate courses in New York City and Dallas Texas. Pat was a Registered Nurse for the former Fairlawn Hospital in Worcester for 34 years. She loved to travel. Her travels included all 50 states, Africa, China, Australia, New Zealand, the British Isles, Ireland and Scandinavian Countries. She enjoyed knitting and crocheting.
Pat's funeral will be held on Thursday, Oct. 1st with a Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Brigid Church, 59 Main Street in Millbury. Burial will follow in St. John's Cemetery in Worcester.
A calling hour will be held prior to the funeral from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. in Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 Main Street in Millbury.
