MILLBURY Patricia R. (Meservey) Miller, 72, formerly of 6 Woodrow Rd., died Monday, Nov. 27th in Blair House of Worcester.
Her husband, John T. Miller died in 2001. She leaves two daughters, Patience A. Miller, wife of Fernando Perez of Millbury and Paula R. wife of Thomas Doane of Tennessee; two sons, Leonel W. Miller of Utah and David L. and his wife Maria Miller of Mississippi; 7 grandchildren, Jason, Megean, Stephanie, Amy, John, Kory and Madeline and a predeceased granddaughter, Kimberly; 4 great-grandchildren, Mickaela, Devon, Daniel and Brianna; two sisters, Mary Bradonik and Sylvia Meservey of Worcester; nephews and nieces. She was born in Worcester, daughter of Ralph L. and Madeline P. (Vietz) Meservey. She is predeceased by three brothers, Ralph, Richard, and Martin Meservey; two sisters Phyllis DeFuedis and Elizabeth Beckwith.
Mrs. Miller worked for the Worcester Telegram Gazette in Millbury and Sutton for 30 years, delivering newspapers. She also was a volunteer knitter for St. Vincent Hospital Nursery, making hats for the newborns. She was a very talented craftsperson and enjoyed gardening, knitting, crocheting, quilting and fishing.
Memorial calling hours will be held Dec. 9th Saturday from 4 to 6 p.m. in Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 Main St., Millbury. A memorial service will be held at 6 p.m. following the calling hours, in the funeral home. Mrs. Miller made an anatomical donation to Tufts University Medical School in Boston. Burial will be private in Central Cemetery, Millbury. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, Mass. Chapter 311 Arsenal Street Watertown, MA 02472.
