MILLBURY Paul H. Anderson, 56, of 402 Greenwood St., died Friday, Sept. 10th in UMASS Memorial Medical Center, Memorial Campus, after being stricken ill.
He leaves his wife, Sharon R. (Fleming) Anderson; his mother, Lydia E. (Westerberg) Anderson of Millbury; cousins; nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his father, Lowell G. Anderson and a brother, Lowell D. Anderson. He graduated from Worcester Boys Trade High School in 1965 and Fitchburg State College in 1983.
Paul owned and operated Paul Anderson Construction Corporation and Duration Farm. Previously he was a teacher of automotive and horticulture at Joseph P. Keefe Technical High School in Framingham and was also an instructor of Toyota Technical Training at Mass Bay Community College. He also worked at various area automotive dealerships. He was a Trustee of the Millbury Public Library and a Navy veteran of the Vietnam era.
He was a member of the Massachusetts Christmas Tree Association and the Millbury Historical Society.
His funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 14th. in Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 Main St., Millbury. Burial will be in private in All Faiths Cemetery, Worcester. Calling hours are 5 to 8 p.m. Monday, Sept. 13th, in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Millbury Historical Society, P.O. Box 367, Millbury, MA 01527 or to the Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD), 18 Tremont St., Suite 550, Boston, MA 02108.
