Paul Aubrey

MILLBURY - Paul W. Aubrey, 81, passed away peacefully on Saturday, Oct. 13th surrounded by his loving family.

Paul is survived by his wife of 60 years, Judith (Paille) A. Aubrey; two daughters, Lynne Kelley and her husband, Kevin of Deep Valley, WV and Karen Wells of Groton, MA; three grandchildren, Christopher Fornari, Taylor and Ashley Wells; five sisters, Linda Carig and her husband, William of East Sandwich, Janet Parker of Millbury, Nancy Luby and her husband, John of Millbury, Linda Lamprey of Leicester and Deborah Pavlosky of Templeton; four brothers, Robert Lee and his wife, Elaine of Millbury, Richard Lee of North Brookfield, Thomas Lee and his wife, Pamela of Douglas and Raymond Lee of Parkersburg, WV; many nieces and nephews.  He is predeceased by his parents George Aubrey and Bertha (Duhamel) Aubrey-Lee and his brother, David Lee.

Paul served in the United States Marine Corps during the Korean War.  He was a graduate of Millbury High School.  Paul drove for many years as a truck driver and drove for the Worcester Bus Company.  He retired as a Court Officer in Charge from the Dudley District Court.  Paul was a member of the Local 170 Teamsters Union, a life member of the Charles F. Minney VFW Post 3329 and the American Legion Dudley Gendron Post 414.  He was also a life member of the Marine Corps League of Blackstone Detachment 911 and Worcester Detachment 144.  Paul was a member of the Knights of Columbus Alhambra 88 of Worcester.  He enjoyed spending time with his family, golfing, traveling and his pet pug, Liliana.

Family and friends will honor and remember Paul’s life by gathering for a time of visitation on Tuesday, Oct. 16th from 4 to 8 p.m. at Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 N. Main Street in Millbury.

His Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 17th at St. Brigid Church, 59 N. Main Street in Millbury.  Burial with military honors will follow at Central Cemetery in Millbury.
