MILLBURY – Paul L. Dufault Jr., 45, died Sunday in his home, after being stricken ill.
He leaves his son, Brett Leo Dufault; his former wife, Anna F. (Sims) Dufault, both of Blackstone; his father, Paul Dufault and his wife Cecilia of Florida; his step-father, Paul Aucoin of Boylston; two sisters, Patricia Blakeney and her husband Scott of Sterling and Susan Hudson and her husband, William of Douglas; a brother, Sgt. William Dufault and his wife Trisha of Worcester; a paternal grandmother, Mary (Melanson) Dufault of Worcester; five nephews and two nieces. He was born in Worcester and is predeceased by his mother, Maria A. (Hogan) Aucoin.
Paul graduated from Burncoat High School in 1982. He then served in the U.S. Navy for four years, supporting the Multi-National Peacekeeping Force in Beirut, Lebanon. Upon returning from his military service he worked for the U.S. Postal Service now in Springfield. He enjoyed spending quality time with his precious son Brett. He was an avid Patriot fan and enjoyed golfing and most of all spending time with his family.
His calling hours are 10 to 12 p.m. Friday, Dec. 11th in Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 Main St. in Millbury. There will be a funeral service at Noon following the calling hours in the funeral home. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery in Boylston. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Massachusetts Veterans Inc., 69 Grove St., Worcester, MA 01605.
