AUBURN - Paul L.F. Ekstrom, 73, of 10 Fox Run Circle, formerly of Millbury, died Saturday, Sept. 20, in St. Vincent Hospital, Worcester.

He leaves his wife, Ethel E. (Dickinson) McKinnon Ekstrom; two sons, Keith P. Ekstrom and Neal V. Ekstrom both of Millbury; two daughters, Pamela A. Morrison of China, and Jane B. Ranaldo of Harwich; two step-sons, Alan D. McKinnon of North Brookfield and Donald M. McKinnon of Charlton; a step-daughter, Robin R. LaPorta of Shrewsbury; a sister, Theresa OTM)Connor of West Boylston; 15 grandchildren; a great grandchild. He was born in Worcester, son of Sigfred R.L. and Julia (Miller) Ekstrom and has lived in Millbury most of his life.

Mr. Ekstrom was a surveyor for the Worcester Public Works Department for 13 years, retiring in 1984. He previously worked at New England High Carbon Wire Co. in Millbury and for the Town of Webster Engineering Office. He was a Navy veteran during the Korean War.

The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 25, in St. Thomas Episcopal Church 35 School St., Auburn. Burial will be in private in Central Cemetery, Millbury. Calling hours are 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 24, at Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 Main St., Millbury. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the St. Thomas Episcopal Church, 35 School St., Auburn, Ma. 01501.
