MILLBURY – Paul D. Graveline, 62, died Friday, Oct. 24th in St. Vincent Hospital in Worcester, after a long battle with congestive heart failure.
He was the son of the late Oscar and Mary (Hamilton) Graveline. He leaves his brother, David Graveline and his wife, Sue Prentiss of Worcester, his sister and brother in law Anne and Rick Smardon of Syracuse, NY and his sister, Mary Brodeur and her long time companion, Jack Poisant of Millbury. He also leaves many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.
Paul grew up in Millbury and spent several years in Worcester and Westborough before returning to Millbury about 10 years ago. He was a dedicated caregiver to his elderly parents. He was known to everyone as a kind and gentle man who will be dearly missed.
His funeral will be held Monday, Oct. 27th from the Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 Main St. in Millbury, with a Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Brigid Church, 59 Main St. in Millbury. Burial will be in St. Brigid Cemetery in Millbury. Calling hours are 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 26th in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, P.O. Box 50, Memphis, Tennessee 38101 or the Alzheimer's Association 311 Arsenal Street, Watertown, MA 02472.
