Paul T. Rovezzi

Paul Thomas Rovezzi, born on March 4, 1958, in Worcester, MA, passed away peacefully on December 23, 2024, in Plano, TX after a three-year battle with cancer.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Cynthia, and his three daughters: Kelly (Michael) Swanson, Kristen Rovezzi, and Jennifer Rovezzi. He is also survived by his father Joseph Rovezzi, his five brothers, and grandchildren Tatum and Scarlett Swanson. He is pre-deceased by his mother, Shirley Rovezzi.

Paul proudly served his country in the United States Air Force from 1980 to 1996. His unwavering dedication to his country was only matched by the support his family gave him throughout his career. Upon retiring as a major, he spent nearly 30 years contributing to advancements in the field of cellular communications. Known for his tough but fair nature, Paul was a highly respected leader and a giving mentor who left a lasting impact on those around him.

Beyond his professional achievements, Paul's proudest accomplishments were raising his daughters and being the husband to the love of his life, Cindy. An ardent sports fan, Paul enthusiastically rooted for his beloved hometown Boston professional teams. A long time runner, he switched to cycling after his time in the Air Force and relished riding many miles with his friends and family. His devotion to cycling continued well into his cancer treatments.

As a Roman Catholic, Paul lived his life in service to others, embodying the values of faith and compassion. He led with kindness and saw the potential in others. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.

A funeral mass at Our Lady of Angels, 1914 Ridgeview Drive, Allen, TX 75013 will be held January 17th at 1:30pm. Please join the family at 1:00pm for Full Military Honors presented prior to mass and there will be a reception immediately following.
