Paul H. Sauriol, 84, died peacefully Sunday, August 30th in his home surrounded by his loving family, after a courageous battle with cancer.
Paul leaves his wife of 59 years, Phyllis T. (Oster) Sauriol; four children, Stephen P. Sauriol and his wife, Marsha of Jefferson, GA, Marc J. Sauriol of Millbury, Michelle M. Rudge and her husband, Allan of Millbury and James S. Sauriol and his wife, Kelly of Millbury; ten grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren; a brother, Bruce Sauriol of Florida; nieces, nephews and cousins. He is predeceased by his parents, Joseph and Viola (LaBarge) Sauriol.
Paul was a veteran of the United States Army and served during the Korean Conflict. He was a draftsman for Morgan Construction of Worcester for many years. During his retirement Paul and Phyllis enjoyed traveling the country in their motor home.
Most of all he loved spending time with his family and grandchildren, who he adored. The family would like to thank the VNA Care Network & Hospice for all their care and support.
Paul's funeral will be held on Friday, Sept. 4th with a funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m. in St. Brigid Church, 59 Main Street in Millbury. Burial with military honors will follow at Central Cemetery in Millbury. The family requests that if you are attending the funeral please go directly to the church. There are no calling hours.
