Pauline C. (Downey) Lillie, 87, died Friday, Aug. 29th in UMASS Memorial Medical Center, University Campus in Worcester.
Her husband, Arthur E. Lillie, Sr. died in 1993. She leaves three sons, Thomas A. Lillie and his wife, Tami of North Grosvenordale, CT, Patrick M. Lillie and his wife, Jeanne of Millbury and Jamie T. Lillie of Bellingham; a daughter-in-law, Susan Lillie of Millbury; eight grandchildren, Christina, Joshua, Gabriel, Sarah, Elijah, Benjamin, Nicole and Stephen; six great grandchildren. She was born in Worcester and is predeceased by a son, Arthur E. Lillie, Jr. and her parents, Thomas and Bridget (Burke) Downey; four sisters and one brother.
Pauline was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She left a lasting impression with all who knew her. Pauline was an avid bingo and card player. She was a member of St. Brigid Church in Millbury for many years.
Her funeral will be held on Tuesday, Sept. 2nd from Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 Main St. in Millbury with a Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Brigid Church, 59 Main St. in Millbury.
Calling hours are 5 to 8 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 1st in the funeral home. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery in Worcester.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Brigid Church, 59 Main Street, Millbury, MA 01527.
