MILLBURY Peter J. Mankevetch, 98, of 4 Colonial Drive, died peacefully Tuesday, Nov. 4th, in Radius Healthcare Center, Millbury.
He leaves his wife of 75 years, Helen C. (Chiras) Mankevetch; a son, David V. Mankevetch of Millbury; a daughter, Jean Tupling of FL; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; two great great-grandchildren; nephews and nieces. Peter was born in Worcester and is predeceased by his parents, John and Ursula (Urbanavich) Mankevetch, a son, Peter J. Mankevetch, a sister, Mary Dorr and a grandson, Kevin Calcagni.
Peter worked in the Quality Control Department at Worcester Pressed Steel Company, retiring in 1977.
His funeral will be held Wednesday, Nov. 7th from the Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 Main St., Millbury, with a Mass at 10 a.m. St. BrigidTM)s Church, 59 Main St. in Millbury. Entombment will be in Notre Dame Mausoleum. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Friends of the Millbury Seniors, 1 River St., Millbury, MA 01527 or the Activity Fund of the Radius Health Care Center, 29 Main St., Millbury,. MA 01527 or to St. BrigidTM)s Church, 59 Main St., Millbury, MA 01527.
